# Software Developer with EV experience

### About you

You’re passionate about electric mobility and climate technologies, with at least **5 years of experience** developing and managing **EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment)** software projects. You bring hands-on expertise in **E-mobility standards and protocols (OCPP, OCPI)** and a proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Your background includes a **tertiary qualification in technology or engineering** , and you’re motivated by building scalable, secure, and future-ready systems.

### Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as the in-house expert on **E-mobility standards, protocols, and compliance requirements**

2. Design and oversee a **secure and scalable eMobility software architecture**

3. Provide **technical sign-off** for systems prior to go-live

4. Manage and deliver the **software roadmap** , ensuring timely and high-quality releases

5. Lead efforts in **software testing and automation**

6. **Mentor and guide** junior engineers and developers  

### Required Skills & Experience

- Deep knowledge and enthusiasm for **eMobility and climate tech** , including **battery, solar, and off-grid energy systems**

- Expertise in **EV charging protocols** , especially **OCPP** and **OCPI**

- Strong technical foundation in:

- Experience with **wireless networks** , **low-power communications** , and **embedded systems**

- Proven ability to work in **multidisciplinary and agile environments**

### Qualifications

- **Bachelor’s or Master’s degree** in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline

- **Certification or training** in OCPP / OCPI protocol (highly regarded)

- **Project or Requirements Management** qualifications are an advantage
